Service Description

Mastering the potter’s wheel takes time; no matter where you are on that journey, this class is for you. We welcome participants of all skill levels, and newcomers benefit from watching and learning from others with broader experience in the craft. Wheel work is incredibly satisfying, and making a vessel for use in your home is the ultimate accomplishment. Cheryl breaks down the process for easy learning and reinforces those steps with repetition to achieve muscle memory. The learning curve to throwing is steep, but Cheryl guides you through the first steps to achieve early success. Class blocs are scheduled for 7 weeks, five working sessions, one glaze prep, and one glaze session. Come to class for the experience and stay for the community HeartSpace Studio offers.
